Leadership in America
Any true and thorough study of American History leaves one in awe at the uniqueness of America. There has never been an empire like it. It's foundations are remarkable. Under God, and a government where the people have the power. And yes, America has it's dark spots like any historical civilization, but I want to focus on the Hope we still have, because there is just so much of it.
The Attitude of Americans the last Fifty years has been a mixture of courageous competance, patriotism, service, and domination. Our leader's in government have taken actions that have been no less than domineering. Just look at how we infiltrate and attempt to control all other nations and their elections. Our government has been domineering, but compared to past empires we are unique in the fact that we don't go into all countries and claim them as our own land.
Our Government is different than our People. The American Person has much Hope. The American people still have the power to change government by electing certain types of people. We have hope as a country because the people can still elect strong leaders. Let us elect better leaders. Let us deny elitist individuals that come out of their "Elite" Universities the power that they crave. Let's make them work on the street with their "profound" knowledge that they learned at these so called "elite" schools. Let's force them into manual labor. They need to know what it is like to work at a hot dog stand and make smidgens for their living. These elitist individuals with their arrogance are the reason we are in this economic depression. Let's make them pay.
Remember, we have the power. They think that political position is something to be wielded with force instead of a place of service. They view political office as a place to dominant instead of an honorable place that they can obtain to SERVE their people. We need leaders that are SERVANTS. The Scriptures encourage service unlike any other religion. Christ came to serve, and to pour out his life for his loved ones. Where are our politicians that are willing to die for their loved constituents? Where are our leaders and senators that are willing to Serve day and night for the good of the people. I don't see any of those leaders. Let us pray for God to raise them up. If you are a natural leader or want to be a leader, become a leader like this. Serve your community like Christ served his disciples and die to self the way Christ died for us. Please become this type of leader. America depends on You.
[Submission to Authority]
[13 ] Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, [14 ] or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. [15 ] For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. [16 ] Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. [17 ] Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.
[18 ] Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust. [19 ] For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. [20 ] For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. [21 ] For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. [22 ] He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. [23 ] When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. [24 ] He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. [25 ] For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Balaam's Donkey
God can use anyone and any means no matter how annoying it is to speak to Americans.

Scandalous
The Cross of Jesus Christ is beyond Controversial. It's Scandalous. The Perfect Man, Jesus Christ, was slain by Us. If Christ died for being perfect, will not Christians be martyred as well?

K I N G
"King." What a Kingly word. I love that powerful word. I serve the King of Kings. Can't see Him but man I love Him and I know He loves me. Meditate on that. Your King loves you. More than you can fathom. You need proof? Research the attrocity of the Cross and the complete abandonment Christ felt when his Father turned away from His one and only beloved Son whom he loved perfectly and treasured with all his heart. God our King, Father and Savior turned his back on his Son leaving him alone on the cross, but not only that; He poured out his Complete and Holy Wrath on his own Son as a propitiation for our sins. Unbelievable. How about that for Love. God died and suffered the torment of his own creation and more painfully endured the perfect wrath of God to destroy Death and Sin once and for all to Save us all from Hell.
[17 ] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. [18 ] All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; [19 ] that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. [20 ] Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.[21 ] For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
(2 Corinthians 5:17-20; 2 Corinthians 5:21 ESV)

What would Jesus Do?
or
What has Jesus Done? And live in light of that Amazing Cross in the power of the Holy Spirit.
I don't have the ability to do what Jesus did but I can attempt to live like Him grateful for what He has done with His power being formed slowly and painfully in a sanctifying way into His Image.

Delight and true religion are as allied as root and flower; as indivisible as truth and certainty; they are, in fact, two precious jewls glittering side by side in a setting of gold.

Our joys divinely grow
Unspeakable like those above,
And heaven begins below."

Grace
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.
